PlanSea would like to introduce you to our very special friends, Captain Chibi Chan, Tater the Turtle and Shelly the Seal.
They are a unique part of the PlanSea crew and will share ocean fun facts and important information with viewers regarding
our marine environment around the world and explain what you can do to help us save our seas and the animals that live there!
SAM MONAGHAN
Snorkel Sam
is the star of the show and plays the ocean enthusiast,
SNORKEL SAM. He has a passion for the ocean environment and loves to
share his enthusiasm and knowledge. For the past eight years, Mr.
Monaghan has hosted a popular TV series in Japan, entitled “Aloha
Tengoku”. The show reaches more than 6 million homes on Sky Perfect
TV and spotlights the Hawaiian Islands. He also writes a column for
Japan Airlines’ website, entitled Sam’s Log. Sam has recently gained
major television exposure in Japan for his role in escorting the
famous Hawaiian Voyaging Canoe, HOKULEA, for its first ever visit to
Japan.
